More About Claudia
I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where I can walk alongside you on your therapeutic journey. My goal is to ensure you feel supported and empowered to take the next step in your life. I believe that every individual is unique; therefore, I offer a holistic approach to counseling that facilitates deeper emotional healing and self-awareness.
Counseling Approach
I provide specialized support for trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I also offer Couples Counseling to help partners improve communication and navigate relationship hurdles.
Additionally, I have a passion for working with athletes navigating injuries or the mental health challenges unique to sports. As a previous college athlete, I understand the "athlete's mindset" firsthand and help clients navigate the intersection of high-performance pressure and mental well-being.
To help you reach your goals, I utilize a variety of evidence-based modalities tailored to your specific needs:
Brainspotting: A powerful tool used to identify, process, and release the physical and emotional sources of pain. This modality helps access unresolved trauma stored in the deeper, non-verbal areas of the brain. This is especially effective for clients who feel "stuck" in traditional talk therapy.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): Providing practical skills for mindfulness, emotional regulation, and navigating difficult interpersonal relationships.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): To help manage thought patterns and behaviors.
Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT): To identify strengths and reach specific milestones.
Person-Centered Therapy: Ensuring that you are always the expert on your own life and experiences.
My goal is to meet you exactly where you are and provide a therapy experience tailored to your specific needs.
